The story of DINOBUS began in 1983 with the establishment of Nordic Dino. Beginning as a leading producer in self-contained aircraft cleaning technology, the mission evolved to include ground handling and fuel operations. For 39 years, seamless and efficient end-to-end airport operations defined what would eventually be the foundation for DINOBUS. Our portfolio of strategic partnerships with ground-handling businesses around the world exhibited a number of changes; not only positively, but with tangible results that showcase what is possible for airport transportation.  

For us, sustainability has always been at the forefront of our goals, and a green drive requires an exceptional understanding of green energy. By 2018, our brand became synonymous with eco-friendly technology, and our company represented the EU market with intelligent electric vehicle solutions. Working under the name Busnex, we focused on keeping up our vision of climate consciousness by being a leading zero-emission transportation solution provider. Busnex first joined the scene by developing the perfect city bus, reducing CO2 while maintaining a great ride with a sleek design. This enabled DINOBUS to emerge from an already impressive background in urban transportation. With a strong track record of city buses already in our portfolio, collaborating with Nordic Dino’s airport expertise was simply meant to be: it was an endeavor to look at green solutions from every angle, led by professionals.

Our partnership with one of the world’s largest bus and coach manufacturers led us to develop a comprehensive, global solution for implementing green technology. Our efforts can be seen both in cities and airports. Busnex also provides us with charging infrastructure solutions, equipment, and maintenance, helping us launch our own idea of the perfect “eco bus”. Our collective drawing boards envisioned an agile, strong, and environmentally integrated vehicle; much like a dinosaur.
